A Business Angel is an informal investor who offers capital and knowledge to start-ups that have good development prospects. Informal investors, unlike formal investors (such as banks), invest directly in start-ups and do not just provide capital, but offer a complete network to accompany them from pre-seed to scale-up, using their own expertise and that of their international network.
